Approach

How the group works

Cooper’s Tech is a holding company. It starts companies, owns them and supports them, but it never makes them depend on it.

01

Each company stands alone

Every company is set up as its own business from day one. It has its own bank account, books, contracts and cloud accounts. If one were sold tomorrow, the buyer would need nothing from us to run it.

02

Each company owns its work

Code, brand, domains and data belong to the company that made them. We hold no shared IP and license nothing back and forth between companies.

03

Nothing is shared by default

There are no shared services or common platform for companies to lean on. When one company needs something from another, they agree it at arm’s length, like any two businesses.

04

The group funds itself

Cooper’s Tech is owned outright and doesn’t raise money. Returns from established companies pay for the next one, so the group grows at its own pace and answers to no one but itself.

05

Owner, then steward

We build each company hands-on. Once it can run without us, we step back from day-to-day work and stay on as owner, so the company keeps its independence and we keep building.
